Fire Rating Malaysia
Fire performance requirements for commercial floor coverings in Malaysian buildings. UBBL Eighth Schedule, MS 1183:2015, BS 476 Part 7 (Class 1-4 for floors), EN 13501-1 Bfl-s1 Euroclass.
Slip Resistance Standards
Two slip resistance standards govern commercial flooring: DIN 51130 R-rating (R9-R13, German ramp test) and AS 4586 / BS 7976 pendulum test (PTV: Australian/UK pendulum method). Both used in Malaysian specifications.
